Lizards are reptiles with external ear openings and movable eyelids. The tail of lizards breaks off as a defense mechanism. Some Lizards (also called glass snakes) have no legs, but they are not true snakes. Most Lizards feed on rodents and insects; only a few species are herbivorous. Two Lizard species are venomous.
