Desert Iguana
A desert iguana photo shows it to be much smaller than pictures of other varieties.
These creatures tolerate extreme heat, but cannot stand cold weather because they are cold-blooded. Being omnivorous, they eat flowers and leaves and occasionally catch insects. These reptiles are not endangered, because they have little predators and live in remote areas.
