Gila Monsters
Gila monsters and their babies look very interesting in the photos.
These animals stay dormant in winter and start mating right after emerging from winter sleep. Females lay 3-15 eggs and bury them 5 inches deep in the ground. Hatchlings measure 3.5 to 4.5 inches in length and may emerge after winter.

These lizards are carnivores, i.e. they feed on meat. They usually hunt small mammals, birds, lizards and insects, and hunt primarily during night hours. These reptiles average 14-16 inches in length, although some individuals measure up to 22 inches. Gila monsters and their babies look very interesting in the photos.
