Gila monster facts can be learnt from many breeders, but not any breeder can be trusted. The Heloderma suspectum and the Mexican Beaded lizard (Heloderma horridum) are two known venomous lizards. The Gila Monster has a venomous gland in its lower jaw that produces a nerve toxin. The animalís venom may kill small mammal, and is not fatal to humans. These lizards occur in pink to orange, and there are dark bands on the body and tail. These lizards live in underground burrows, and females bury their eggs 5 inches deep in the ground. Clutches usually contain 2-13 eggs, and hatchlings measure 3-4 inches in length. Gila monster facts can be learnt from many breeders, but not any breeder can be trusted.
