Corn snake colors don't fully develop as babies and will achieve them long after leaving the breeder farm. The most common coloration traits of these reptiles are amelanistic, aneytheristic and hypomelanistic. The first variety lacks melanin or the black pigment. The second is the trait lacking the red pigment. In the last variety, the skin has a reduced melanin, and some of the black is missing, but not all. Corn snake colors don't fully develop as babies and will achieve them long after leaving the breeder farm.

These reptiles make very docile pets. Strikingly beautiful, they come in a variety of different colors and patterns. Various shades of brown, black, white, yellow, and red form the beauty of the reptile’s skin. The wild population of these reptiles is native to the southern states of the United States. Corn snake colors don't fully develop as babies and will achieve them long after leaving the breeder farm.
