A breeding chameleon veiled needs certain habitat conditions, in which a picture demonstrating how an experienced breeder will be helpful. The species usually reaches sexual maturity as early as six months. If the animal has reached this age, it does not mean it should be bred at once. Introduced to the male, the female may turn black, gape and start rocking back and forth. Such behavior means it is not ready for mating.
